In early 2021, as the world seemed to pause, the idea for KÓSTL began in a small Toronto apartment and took shape as a brand that blends simplicity with sophistication. From Toronto to Hamilton, KÓSTL evolved from a vision into a collection of thoughtfully crafted candles, designed to complement minimalist decor and elevate any space. Each candle is created with premium fragrances, responsibly sourced and blended from local and international artisans, housed in durable borosilicate glass, and topped with our signature round cork lid. With a clean soy-blend wax and quality wood wicks, KÓSTL candles offer a sensory experience that appeals to those who appreciate refined aromas and modern aesthetics.

Hi! We're Lauren and Eric, the duo behind KÓSTL. Born and raised in Ontario, we’re proud to call Hamilton home (along with our rascal of a pup, Hugo). KÓSTL began in our Toronto apartment kitchen as a passion project—a way to create candles that blend indulgent scents with timeless, minimalist design.
What started small, we hope to nurture and grow, fueled by our endless curiosity to reimagine the world of home fragrance.

Our fragrance oils are vegan and cruelty-free, sourced exclusively from Canada, the USA, and Australia. They’re formulated without phthalates, parabens, SLS, or SLES, ensuring a clean, high-quality scent experience without harmful additives.
